Experimental film, KURU is a vision of the mind. He tries to represent the doubt, the fear of the other, the hallucination of two broken human beings starving to death.
KURU, c’est après la fin. C’est une rencontre dans un monde perdu, abandonné, un monde où accorder autre chose que de l’hostilité à son prochain semble inconcevable. Deux survivants qui ont tout vécu se retrouvent là, dans cette clairière, dix ans après la fin du monde. « Dans une situation pareille, comment pourrait-on accorder sa confiance à quelqu’un ? ». C’est ce que se demande Célia, qui subit un courroux divin sans relâche depuis que tout a commencé, depuis que tout s’est terminé.
KURU is the aftermath. An encounter in a lost, abandoned world, a world where granting anything other than hostility to one’s neighbor seems inconceivable. Two survivors who have lived it all find themselves there, in this clearing, ten years after the end of the world. « In such a situation, how could we trust someone? » : this is what Célia wonders, she who has suffered a relentless divine wrath since it all began, since it all ended.
